TV programmes - Supernatural

It was a time where I was looking for a new show to pick up and start watching. What I ended up choosing was Supernatural. I had looked for a sci-fi, fantasy something-something with some good laughs in it too and wow did I pick the right show.

The first episode was a bit different than I had anticipated. I didn't expect two badass brothers, Sam and Dean Winchester to be fighting a ghost in a horror show. But the more I watched it, the more I grew into it and started loving it. Even furthermore you'd soon discover that it isn't a simple-minded ghost and spirit slaying series but a complicated story. A story where two brothers have been raised by their father John to be experts on what they're doing - hunting supernatural beings. They are constantly on the road with the awesome '67 Chevrolet Impala because staying in one place is not safe for either them because of the trouble trailing them or for people around for the same reason.

But as I said it isn't just about just killing the supernatural beings. The reason they are on the road by themselves and why they were raised by their father to be one of best hunters, is because their mother was killed by a very powerful demon when they were little children and that's when John, their father, decided to choose this way of life. To hunt down the demon responsible for the deed and anything else that's supernatural and messes around with peoples lives. And storyline goes further into 6 seasons of pretty much everything related to myths, legends and thought-out creatures to even biblical events. This is all is brought to you by episodes full of excitement and thrill. Even more, it's amazing how they have managed to insert humor and jokes which I would say are even better than in sitcoms and other comedy oriented shows.

In the end I consider Supernatural to be one of my favourite TV programmes and I could go on and on why it's so. Here are some clips from different episodes as well.
